Synexco Digital ("we", "us", or "our") is a sole proprietorship registered in Malaysia under the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) with Business Registration Number 202603052366 (SA0649630-T). We design and build custom digital solutions and industry-specific SaaS platforms for Malaysian small and medium enterprises.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to us directly when you:

• Fill out our contact form — we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
• Email us directly — we receive whatever information you choose to share in your email.
• Engage us for services — we collect business and contact information necessary to deliver the work, governed by a separate service agreement.

We also automatically collect limited technical information through our hosting provider:

• Server logs — including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard for any website and is used to maintain security and diagnose technical issues.

We do not currently use cookies for tracking or analytics. We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you've requested.
• Send you information you've explicitly asked for (such as proposals, quotations, or follow-ups on a discovery call).
• Improve our services and respond to security or technical issues.

We will not send you marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Information

Your data is stored using reputable third-party services. As of the date of this policy, we use:

• Vercel — for website hosting and basic server infrastructure.
• Email — your messages are received and stored in our business email inbox.

We may add additional third-party services in the future (such as email delivery providers or customer relationship management tools). We will update this policy when we do, and we only work with providers that have appropriate security and data protection standards.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. We will never share your information with third parties except as described in this policy or where required by law.

5. Your Rights Under PDPA

Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) gives you certain rights over your personal data. You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete — ask us to delete your personal data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
• Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for us to process your data, at any time.
• Lodge a complaint — contact the Personal Data Protection Department (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi) if you believe we've mishandled your data.

6. Data Retention

We keep contact form submissions and inquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and complete any work that follows. If we don't end up working together, we'll delete your data within 12 months, unless you ask us to keep it longer (for example, if you'd like us to follow up later).

If we work together on a project, your data will be retained for the duration of our engagement and for a reasonable period afterwards, in line with standard business and tax record-keeping requirements in Malaysia.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses, not individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we've collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll do our best to notify you directly (for example, if we have your email).
